The Lord called Wes into the full-time ministry in his teen years. He completed his undergraduate degree in Bible (minoring in music) at Baptist College of Ministry in 2006, and is currently working on a Masters of Divinity degree at Maranatha Baptist Seminary. After an internship in 2007 at Friendship Baptist, Wes began serving as assistant pastor, where he worked with the youth and music programs. In 2024, Wes transitioned into the role of senior pastor. He is excited to continue serving the Lord with his church family. Pastor Wes and his wife, Jessica, have six children.

Pastor Tyler sensed the Lord calling him to the ministry in 2003. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Bible Evangelism in 2011 and a master’s degree in Biblical Counseling in 2013 from Bob Jones University and Seminary. He began serving as assistant pastor at Keystone Baptist Church in Brandon, Manitoba in 2012. The Lord led Pastor Tyler and his family to Friendship Baptist in March of 2026. He works with our young people, assists with preaching, teaching, music, and a number of other things. He and his wife, Joy, have four children.

Terry Hamilton
Pastor Emeritus
Terry Hamilton served as senior pastor of Friendship Baptist Church from 1989-2024. He earned a BA (1977) and an MA (1979) in Sacred Music from Bob Jones University. Terry served in three different churches as a gifted music pastor, all the while noticing a growing burden to preach the word. The Lord led Terry into the senior pastorate at Friendship in 1989. In 1992, he received counseling training through the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC) in Lafayette, Indiana. In 2009 Terry completed a Master of Ministry degree from Bob Jones University. After 35 faithful years as senior pastor, Terry transitioned into the role of pastor emeritus in 2024. He and his wife, Nancy, have six children.
